DANCING FLOWER TEA
This special flowering tea is handmade by combining high quality 'Maofeng green tea' with flowers of Osmanthus and Lily into a shape of a mushroom.
When steeped in hot water, the tea ball unfurls into a beautiful floral display. Recommended to brew in a tall clear glass cup or teapot (10 cm X 7 cm).
'Dancing Flower Tea' is a long-lasting fragrant tea with a rich and refreshing aroma and a light floral taste.
Green tea , Osmanthus and Lily
Fuding, Fujian, China
Tea: 1 tea ball Water: 100 C , 1 cup Time: 3-5 min
Recommended number of steeping: 2-3 times
How to brew:
There is no set rule for brewing tea because each tea type is different.
This is a rough guide to get you started. Please experiment to find your ideal steeping time based on your personal taste.
I recommend using a clear teapot or tall glass cup (10 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter) to prepare this tea so you can enjoy watching the flowers bloom.
Before preparing any type of tea always warm the teapot and tea cups by rinsing it with hot water.
Place one flower tea ball into a clear teapot or tea cup and carefully add 100 C water and let it steep for 3-5 minutes and watch the flowers bloom.
This tea can be infused 2-3 times. Please pour the water slowly down the side of the teapot/cup, avoid pouring water straight on to the flower tea. Steeping time and water temperature can remain the same as above for subsequent infusions.
