PU-ERH TEA
Pu-erh is a very unique tea type because it is a variety of post-fermented tea that tastes better as it ages. Pu-erh tea is mainly produced in Yunnan Province of China and it is traditionally sold in brick or cake form. The Pu-erh tea leaves are dried and rolled and then undergo a fine process of microbial fermentation. The fermented tea leaves are compressed very tightly into a shape of a brick or cake (Tuocha).
