Soba Cha, or roasted buckwheat tea, is a naturally caffeine-free Japanese drink with a toasty, nutty flavour. It can be enjoyed hot or cold and even used as a crunchy salad topping. Despite its name, it isn’t wheat or grain, but a seed related to rhubarb, known for its gentle, nourishing qualities.

Tartary Buckwheat

Origin:

Tokachi, Aomori, Japan

Steeping guide:

Tea: 1 tbsp | Water: 100°C, 1 cup | Time: 2-4 mins

Best tea ever

Sobacha is my go-to morning tea. This is SO MUCH BETTER than the larger, industrial brands. Love that the ingredients are from organic origins.

The soba cha tea is the most delicious herbal tea I've tasted! I recommend this to all ages because I am just 10 and it is soooo tasty. I think the soba cha tea taste the best any time in the day but don't fear because if its boiling hot but you really want some soba tea you can also have it cold! Cold or hot it still taste delicious. I give this a five star rating! I know if you like or even love tea this is the place to go for any type tea and any equipment like tea pots or cups and even tea cup infusers!!!!!!!!!!!!
