Regular price $11.00 $0.00

Renowned as the “Queen of Herbs,” Tulsi has been cherished in Ayurveda for thousands of years. Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it is recognized as an adaptogen—a natural substance that helps the body adapt to stress and maintain balance. This invigorating tea provides a delightful aroma and refreshing taste, with gentle notes of spice and sweetness.

Ingredients*:

Tulsi leaves

Origin:

Uttar Pradesh, India

*sourced from organic origins

Steeping guide:

Tea: 1 tsp Water: 100°C, 1 cup Time: 5-10 mins

Infusions: 2+

How to prepare:

There is no set rule for brewing tea because each tea type is different.

This is a rough guide to get you started. Experiment to find your ideal steeping time based on your personal taste.

Before preparing any type of tea always warm the teapot and teacups by rinsing it with hot water.

Put 1 tsp of Tulsi tea in the preheated teapot/cup, add water at 95°C  over the tea leaves and let it steep for 5-10 minutes.

Don’t throw out your tea leaves after your first cup of tea. The same tea leaves can be steeped up to three times. Discover the nuances of tea with every infusion.

How to Re-steep

Use the same amount of water and temperature to re-steep the tea leaves for subsequent infusions.

Once again, experiment with the steeping time. You can keep it the same or increase it by a couple of minutes.

Divine Tulsi!

I had been searching for tulsi for a while, since I could no longer find the brand I used to buy...but this tulsi is so much better! A lovely, soothing taste - flavourful, but not overpowering, even though I leave the strainer in the cup the whole time - and it tastes so fresh, unlike teabags. It's even great on the second brew! Very relaxing. : )

Thanks Lara for the lovely review. Tulsi is great for multiple brews and can be enjoyed hot or cold.
